Two charmingly cute things that P did lately:
1. We have always called her stuffed animals “peeps”. Not as in these kind of Peeps. More like, my peeps, my friends, my people. Don’t ask me why, ’cause I don’t know. More often than not, people think we’re talking about marshmallow candies when they hear us ask her about her peeps. Anyway she brings a peep with her to school everyday. It is supposed to be only for naptime though she often wants to bend that rule. (You can add that one to my Tuesday Before worries – I was worrying that P will have a hard time not bringing a peep to her new pre-school if and when we have to change her schedule around – more to come on this). So she told me the other day that one of the boys from the 3 year old room was visiting her room and she said, “Mommy, Derrick wants to feel my peeps!” I almost lost control of the car.
2. She was brushing her teeth on Monday night and I walked out of the bathroom for a second. I heard her calling, “Mommy, there’s a bug”. I looked and there was a teeny-tiny spider scurrying away near the baseboard. Next thing I know she’s trying to hit it with her toothbrush.
I hope that you all have a wonderful-worry-free-Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
